Try the Parador del Golf, one of the oldest courses for a cheap visit that will suit amateur golfers. Or for a more picturesque setting, visit the Lauro Golf Course that sits adjacent to the Sierra de Mijas Mountains for unforgettable views.

Walking and Cycling
Walk or ride to take in the breathtaking views that Torremolinos has to offer. Ensure you have your camera to hand when biking through the mountains. There is a vast choice of rental outlets on the beaches so shop around to get the best three-day deal. The promenade that spans the six beaches is a great way to explore Torremolinos and become acquainted with the locals.

Inject a sense of spontaneity into your holiday with an afternoon filled with sphereing. This once in a lifetime activity will see you rolling down a magnificent hill in a giant inflatable ball. Torremolinos has several parks and public gardens that are a great alternative to the beach. Top Beaches
Los Alamos, El Saltillo and Montemar beaches are all extremely popular with holidaymakers in Torremolinos. Los Alamos stretches over 900 metres and offers the perfect location for sunbathing and paddling in the warm sea. El Saltillo is a little livelier because of its wide array of amenities. It's also a great beach for surfing or playing a round of volleyball. Soft, fine sands can be found on Montemar beach, which is located on the western side of Torremolinos. More of a family haven, this beach has a variety of more subdued beach activities to enjoy.

Family Beaches
La Carihuela, Playamar and Bajondilo are great beaches for the family to enjoy. If it's simplicity, sun and sand you're after then venture to one of these three beaches while in Torremolinos. All offer a great choice of cafes, sunbeds, children's play areas and car parks. Each beach offers fantastic opportunities to explore the open sea, whether you're sailing or peddling out on a pedalo.

Torremolinos' beaches are all well-stocked with places to grab an afternoon snack or an ice-cold beverage. Locally known as Chiringuitos, these small bars are available across all six of Torremolinos' beaches and will give you a well-earned break from the scorching sun.

For some much-needed retail therapy stroll along the Calle San Miguel. This popular, pedestrian-only shopping street is a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon people-watching and nipping in and out of the small shops. If you get a little peckish and need a break, take afternoon tea at L'Epanta and indulge in one of their delicious desserts.

Romance
For a romantic evening in Torremolinos, start with a meal at the Normandie Brassierie. This restaurant has been open since the early 1960s and serves sumptuous steaks and the freshest of fish. To walk off all the red wine, take a sunset stroll along the famous promenade. With shops and ice cream cafés open late, you can enjoy each other's company while soaking in some cultured atmosphere on a warm summer's evening.

Nightlife
Torremolinos offers numerous bars and nightclubs perfect for a wild night out. The Palladium and Pipers are located opposite one another and will have you dancing into the early hours. Let your hair down at El Open Arms for a night of karaoke. This place is always busy, so be prepared to find a table and stay the night.

Sea Life Aquarium
A great day out for kids who love underwater adventures, the Sea Life Aquarium is home to a plethora of different species of fish, sharks, giant moray eels, sea turtles, sea horses and rays. The touch pool area and the feeding demonstrations are both popular attractions with children who want to interact with the marine life more and get a chance to hold sea life like starfish.

Safari Parks
Containing more than 300 crocodiles, the Crocodile Park in Torremolinos will throw you in the deep end. Observe some of the world's dangerous, yet fascinating, creatures and even get a chance to hold some of the baby crocodiles that are bred within the park.
